Web and Social Design for a Cardiovascular Care Startup
Current Clinic is built on one promise: Afib and heart failure patients get expert care in days, not months. I contributed to the brand, website, and social design that carries that promise across every channel, from a referring physician’s first impression to a patient’s first appointment.
The challenge
Current Clinic needed to grow across a wide rural service area where prospective patients, existing patients, and referring physicians all behave differently and respond to different messaging. The brand had to feel clinically expert and genuinely reassuring at the same time.
- Serve a wide region with limited specialty cardiac access
- Make a complex, frightening condition feel understandable and manageable
- Present a credible, modern clinical brand
- Scale the site as new service lines launch
My role on the project
Collaborated on the brand, website, and social design that brings more patients to faster heart care
- Website UX strategy and UI design
- Social strategy and content design across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Cross-functional collaboration
Website & UX Design
As Current Clinic grows, I designed new pages and experiences to match, including expanded service lines and a careers page. Each one had to make complex cardiac care easy to navigate and route every visitor, patient or provider, to the right next step.
Social Media Strategy and Content Creation
Working with the Creative Director and Content Strategist, I designed 6 social posts and ads per month across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. We centered the approach on patient education and trust-building, using storytelling and clear goals to make Afib and heart failure care approachable.
Instagram became Current Clinic's number one source of website traffic
In a short campaign window, the social program we built drove more visitors to the Current Clinic site than any other channel. Instagram, where most of the design and storytelling effort lived, became the single largest source of website traffic.
